The Ho House is Moving
. . . Lucy Ho's that is. According to its sister restaurant, Masa, the "original" Lucy Ho's will be relocating to a shopping plaza on Apalachee Parkway just north of Capital Circle NE. They expect to be open in the second week of November.

Hopkins Eatery / Lake Ella has moved
My heart sank when I saw the vacant store front next to the Publix where Hopkins Eatery used to be. But happily, the restaurant hasn't closed, just moved to a different location, in the strip mall building that shares the lot with Publix, next to Blue Ribbon Cleaners and Your Secret Pantry.

Cafe Annapurna closes
I feel like a jinx. First I made plans to have lunch with a friend at MiraBella Restaurant, only to find that it had closed a few weeks ago. Today I met another friend for lunch at Cafe Annapurna only to find that it had closed, too.
It's a shame. It was a little hole in the wall on Tennesssee Street near Kinkos, where the Pocket Emporium used to be. It featured Nepali and Tibetan cuisine, which seemed to be influenced by Indian (chickpeas, curry, pappadum, and dal), Chinese (dumplings and noodles) and Middle Eastern Cuisine (schwarma and gyros). Sorry to see that they couldn't make a go of it.
